Measurement tools have changed…
Before digital or spirit bubble instruments, gravity gave readings for builders in stone, brick, or wood.
A plumb rule with a weight on a cord, applied to an upright vertical surface, gives a true line to the planet’s centre. Similarly, a level measures accuracy with a right angle base placed on a horizontal surface.
Instruments can confirm when tools have lifted, leveled, and then properly reset a monument. We can confirm the accuracy using a theodolite camera app and share the results digitally.
Gravity allows measurement, but also slowly destabilizes monuments over time. Consider using an “anti-gravity machine.” Let’s discuss how it could simplify your task.
